Exfoliants are an effective means to create a refreshing, renewed after-feel to the skin, but can be harsh and irritating. By combining exfoliation with a novel collapsible" structure, MACROBEAD® Delivery Systems minimize irritation while maintaining effectiveness. MACROBEAD® products slowly breakdown into smaller, softer particles to minimize the potential for over scrubbing and irritation. As the particles break down, the MACROBEAD® also delivers the ingredient found entrapped in their core. Through the delivery of mineral oil or dimethicone, our standard MACROBEAD® products help provide exceptional after feel while the collapsing structure relays a tangible sense of the product "working". The MACROBEAD® can even be used in microderm abrasion and exfoliating scrubs with little to no liquid vehicle.
